Rental Applications

 

YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL LISTED STEPS FOR YOU APPLICATION TO BE PROCESSED!

 

 

1. Monticello Apartments requires that those applying for a Fall and/or Winter contract apply for Spring and/or Summer contract also until July 1, 2015. If you do not apply for a spring and/or summer contract your application will not be considered. Spring and Summer may be purchased singularly. The current semester offering is as follows: Spring 2015, Summer 2015, Fall 2015, Winter 2016. The specifice dates for each term are as follows: 

 

Spring 2015: April 25, 2015 - June 20, 2015

Summer 2015: June 20, 2015 - August 15, 2015

Fall 2015: August 15, 2015 - December 19, 2015

Winter 2015: December 19, 2015 - April 23, 2016

 

2. All prospective tenants are required to fill out completely and submit an application before they are considered for a contract. Download, fill out, and submit via email or drop off at the office for consideration. The application is free. However, applying does not mean you have a guaranteed spot. We will process them in the order they are received. You will hear back from us after we finish processing your application on if you have a spot here at Monticello or not.

 

3. You must also send in a copy/scan/pic/screenshot of a current student ID. Please consider the requirement of student status in the CERTIFICATION OF STUDENT STATUS clause of the BYU Student-Landlord Rental Agreement. If you are not a student, please include a transcript of your most recent institute attendance. Applicants are required to have an attendence rate of 75% in an Institute Class for credit.

 

4. For applicants who have previously live in BYU On-Campus housing, you must contact BYU and complete a FERPA release form so that we can get a rental history for your time on campus. The form can be found here.  They will not accept your application as a form of release. Please do so and indicate in your email or to the office worker helping you before applying to live at Monticello Apartments. 

 

Priority is given to current tenants for the coming year (2015-2016). Availability will be assessed after current tenant signings.
